GET IN TOUCH
Relationships are one of the places where our patterns become most visible; comfort, conflict, avoidance, hope, all of it.
Relationship & Couples Counselling offers a space to slow things down, understand what’s happening between you, and find a way forward that works for everyone.
I work with couples, friends, co-parents, and non-monogamous relationship groups. Sessions can take place online across the UK or in person in Penwortham, Lancashire.
Whether you’re navigating a crisis, rebuilding trust, or wanting to stay connected as life changes, this is a space designed to support how you relate.
If you’d like to talk more about whether this support could help your relationship, you can book an introductory call or send a message through the contact page.
People come to relationship therapy for many reasons. Common themes include:
Communication that keeps looping or escalating
Conflict and repair
Trust, rupture, and rebuilding
Navigating neurodivergence within relationships
Intimacy and disconnection
Differences in needs, pace, or expectations
Parenting pressures and role changes
Exploring or maintaining ethical non-monogamy
Making decisions together (or apart)
Strengthening friendship or shared meaning
And sometimes it’s simply a space to check in—a regular tending of the relationship rather than waiting for crisis.
My approach is pluralistic and integrative, grounded in the belief that different people need different things. Together we’ll look at:
What’s happening between you in the moment
The patterns you each fall into when things get hard
What helps you feel safe, heard, and respected
How you repair after conflict
What needs aren’t being communicated
What each person values and hopes for
I don’t take sides, give verdicts, or push a particular outcome. My role is to help each person have space, understand the relational dynamics, and co-create more workable ways of relating.
This work is open to:
Romantic partners (new or long-term)
Friends navigating tension or transition
Co-parents and blended families
Siblings or adult family members
Polycules, triads, and non-monogamous constellations
Individuals wanting to explore relational patterns
Relationship counselling isn’t only for couples, and it’s not only for crisis. It’s support for anyone who wants more clarity, safety, or connection in how they relate.
A session typically includes:
A check-in with everyone in the room
Space to name what feels most important today
Tools to slow things down and understand what's happening
Reflective questions and patterns-mapping
Practical strategies for communication and repair
Ensuring each person feels heard and not overwhelmed
A shared sense of what comes next
Sessions are typically 60 minutes for relational work, but can be adjusted depending on what you need.
Relational work with me honours:
Consent: emotional, conversational, and practical
Boundaries: what’s okay for each person and what isn’t
Equity: making sure no one voice dominates by accident
Safety: physical, emotional, and relational
Difference: neurodivergence, identity, culture, and communication styles
Non-judgement: there are many valid ways to do relationships
I work affirmatively with LGBTQIA+ relationships, non-monogamous structures, and people navigating relational trauma or moral injury.
People often book when:
Communication keeps looping
You feel unheard or misunderstood
A rupture has changed the relationship
There’s uncertainty about the future
Something feels 'off' that you can’t name
You want to strengthen what’s already good
You want a space where all voices matter
If you’re not sure what you need yet, that’s completely okay. A first session is a chance to explore the dynamics and see whether this feels helpful.
We can meet online or in person at my quiet, private space in Penwortham, Lancashire. Whatever feels most comfortable for you.
